A short documentary about Cliff Media’s first LGBTQ+ Shoot Week in 2023.
The film by Gabriel Gutierrez Morales premiered in 11 film festivals across 6 countries and was released for public streaming in 2025.
Cliff Media has grown and changed a lot since its very first shoot week, including a deepened work to follow and support the leadership of BIPOC and people with disabilities.
But many of the underlying goals remain the same, including practicing enthusiastic consent, lifting up LGBTQ+ leadership and voices, embracing the awkward, messy experience of being human, and building community where everyone knows they are loved and wanted.
Gabriel Gutierrez Morales (he/they) is a multidisciplinary queer artist and filmmaker from Tijuana, Mexico and advocate for social change.
They directed another beautiful film called “Boy Slut” that also reflects their incredible approach to exploring queerness, gender and sexuality.
Over their years filming Cliff Media, they have become a beloved part of their community, both for their hugs and for their commitment to a shared vision of a more loving, inclusive, sex-positive world.
