I think the reason is my attitude toward relationships and myself.
First, I believe in abundant love. If someone doesn’t like the choices I make in my life, that’s aight. I accept alternate perspectives, I just don’t need those folks in my inner circle. There are essentially 9 billion potential partners on earth to choose from. Some of them will love me as I am, some of them won’t. Why would I choose to be romantically involved with one of the people in the latter category?
Also, I think I’m pretty fantastic and lovable. That’s not arrogance, that’s just healthy self-esteem. I want everyone to feel that way. You’re awesome, too, not because of what you do, and certainly not because of how you look, but just because of who you are. When you value yourself, it’s easy to have high standards for the people who get to be close to you.
